💎 Shaykh Fawwāz bin ‘Alī al-Madkhalī (may Allah preserve him) stated:

كل من انحرف عن السنة في هذا العصر، أو كان مندسا بين السلفيين ثم انكشف أمره، يجد في منهج التمييع المنهجي ضالته؛ حتى يشعر بحصانة وراحة، ويبث التعصب بين أتباعه ومريديه، ويتعامل مع السلفيين بمنطق حدادي، ثم تنتقل منه خصال الخداع والمكر والتلاعب التي يتقنها إلى مريديه المتعصبين له، فيوظفهم وقودا لفتنته، ولتحصين نفسه من انتقادات أهل السنة، ولن تجد في هؤلاء صادقا، وفي فتن العقود الأربعة الأخيرة عبرة لمن اعتبر . #فواز_بن_علي_المدخلي

“Everyone who has deviated from the Sunnah in this era, or who was an infiltrator (mundassan) among the Salafiyyīn and then his affair was exposed, finds his sought-after refuge in the methodology of Tamyī’ (methodological dilution). [He adopts this] so that he may feel a sense of immunity and comfort, while spreading ta’aṣṣub (blameworthy partisanship) among his followers and disciples, and dealing with the Salafiyyīn with a Ḥaddādī rationale.

Then, the traits of deception, plotting, and manipulation—which he has mastered—are transmitted from him to his fanatical disciples. Thus, he employs them as fuel for his fitnah (tribulation) and to fortify himself against the criticisms of Ahlus-Sunnah. And you will never find a truthful person amongst these individuals. And indeed, in the fitan of the last four decades, there is a profound lesson for whoever takes heed.”

The Three Destructive Factions:

1⃣ Mumayyi’ah (the people who practice Tamyī’):

The blameworthy practice of softening and watering down the clear boundaries of the Salafi methodology by blurring the lines between truth and falsehood. It involves accommodating the opposers of the Sharīʿah and effectively inserting people of innovation (Ahl al-Bidaʿ) and people of desires (Ahl al-Ahwāʾ) into the realm of Ahl al-Sunnah. Deviants adopt this lenient approach as a shield to compromise foundational principles, accommodate opposition, and seek false immunity from rightful criticism.

2⃣ Al-Ḥaddādiyyah (the people who practice Ḥaddādī Methodology):

An extreme and destructive harshness directed specifically against the true people of the Sunnah and its scholars, driven by unjust tabdīʿ (declaring people to be innovators). It is the practice of weaponizing genuine errors or fabricated claims to unjustly expel the people of the Sunnah from the fold of the daʿwah. This methodology relies on severe oppression, manipulation, and the incitement of fanatical followers (taʿaṣṣub) to attack the people of truth and ignite discord (fitnah).

3⃣ Al-Mukhadhdhilah (The Forsakers):

A third faction that forsakes the people of truth during times of fitnah. Driven by a weakness in their methodology (Manhaj) or a blind partisanship (_ta’aṣṣub_) to personalities (ashkhāṣ) over the truth, they fail to defend the Sunnah. Through their complicit silence or misaligned loyalties, they ultimately aid the destructive extremes of both the Mumayyi’ah and the Ḥaddādiyyah.

Regarding those who abandon and forsake the people of truth (the trait of Al-Mukhadhdhilah), we find immense comfort in the established wording of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) concerning Aṭ-Ṭā’ifah Al-Manṣūrah (The Victorious Group).

Thawbān (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

 “‏ إِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي الأَئِمَّةَ الْمُضِلِّينَ ‏”

“‏ لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ يَخْذُلُهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ ‏”

“I only fear for my Ummah the misleading leaders. And a group of my Ummah will never cease to remain manifest upon the truth. They will not be harmed by those who forsake them (yakhdhuluhum), until the decree of Allah comes.”
